As we mark international women’s day today 8th March 2023 themed: DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality. We join everyone to celebrate the women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative technology, the digital economy, and digital education globally.
We also celebrate women leading, enabling positive change, engaged in inspiring actions , addressing difficult issues, doing amazing things, making global contributions for centuries moving communities forward. Women who are trailing the blaze in philanthropic achievements, working within humanitarian settings, youth outreach efforts and beyond, impacting the family planning, economic empowerment, and social justice fields in extraordinary ways.

I want to appeal to fellow women to stop running away from our gender battles, running will not put them away. The best option is to strategize on how to counter them. Let us leverage on innovation and technology for gender equality.
